I've been pretty inactive for the past months, seeing that I didn't post any new stuff.
I had three costume ideas/projects (Elincia from FE10 and two bellydance costumes). However, one has taken priority on the others. Let me explain.
My brother is getting married in July and he and his wife-to-be decided to do a cosplay wedding. I thought the concept to be an amazing idea since they're both anime fans. However, they decided to do a precise theme in cosplay: CLAMP. Thing is: I don't know anything about that! I was planning to work on my Elincia, so that it would be done faster and I wouldn't have to pay for two costumes, but since I'd be the only one that wouldn't follow the dress code, I have to find something else (

).
So there it is: does anyone have an idea of a female character that would be easy to make and that would look chic enough to be cosplayed at a wedding?
As for the Elincia cosplay, for those who might be interested, I started to make her jewellery and bought the fabric for her vail. I also have the pattern for the glove, but the fabric for the outside of her coat is a real problem right now. I have no idea where to get that or how to do it. Also, the base to make her boots can be bought on the Internet, but it's really expensive, so that also causes a problem. It's going very slowly because university and work claim a lot of my time.
On an other note, the SLO (Salon du Livre de l'Outaouais) is just around the corner. For the very first time since I started working, my boss didn't argue to give me my days off, so I'll be able to do my volunteering normaly and since the French novels published lately are pretty... well... yeah... I'll be able to buy a lot of arts and crafts books.
